Background

Paul brings over 30 years’ experience of real estate sales, transaction negotiation and marketing, as well as commercial banking and business brokerage experience to our team.    He has aided hundreds of buyers and sellers with business appraisals and sales as well as commercial /industrial real estate transactions.  Paul was instrumental in organizing the New England Business Brokers Association, the International Business Brokers Association and has held official positions in both organizations.

Paul served the Greater Springfield Association of Realtors as a member, director and chairman of the Commercial & Industrial Division (C&I).  He was an instructor for the C & I program and was the local representative to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, C & I Division and a member of the National Association of Realtors.

The Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM), Commonwealth of Massachusetts engaged Paul as their Western Massachusetts Representative to Co-ordinate issues and projects within the four Western Mass. Counties with the Office of the Governor and Lt. Governor, members of the Legislature and municipal officials.

As a member and director of the International Business Brokers Association he was involved in the creation of that organization’s member certification program, Certified Business Intermediary (CBI).  He wrote and instructed several of the courses.

Community service is part of Paul’s avocation.  He has been involved in the community of West Springfield, MA in various capacities for over 40 years having served as a Town Meeting Member, member and chairman of several Town Committees, was instrumental in reorganizing the Town’s government into a strong Mayor/Council and is currently Chairman of the Community Preservation Committee.  As a City Councilor he was very active with zoning, planning and economic development, was responsible for the creation of the City’s Industrial Redevelopment Authority and sponsored several ordinances to support industrial and economic development.

Paul and his wife Barbara reside in West Springfield, MA.  They are parents to five children and grandparents to ten grandchildren.
